Shipping policy

Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy applies to products and materials shipped by Legacy Photo Lab, owned and operated by Omni Photo Services LLC.

1. Order Processing

We make reasonable efforts to prepare and ship eligible orders promptly. Processing times vary depending on product availability, order volume, custom work, film-processing services, and other operational factors.

Any processing, fulfillment, shipping, or delivery timeframe provided by Legacy Photo Lab is an estimate unless we expressly state otherwise.

2. Film Processing and Custom Orders

Film development, scanning, printing, custom photographic work, and other made-to-order services may require additional processing time before an order is ready for shipment.

Lab turnaround time and carrier transit time are separate. An order is not considered shipped until it has been transferred to the applicable carrier.

3. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges, when applicable, are displayed at checkout or otherwise communicated before shipment.

Shipping fees are generally non-refundable after an order has been shipped, except where required by law or where Legacy Photo Lab determines that a shipping charge resulted from our error.

4. Shipping Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Please review your shipping information carefully before completing your purchase.

If you discover an address error, contact us as soon as possible at info@legacy-photolab.com. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after fulfillment or shipment has begun.

Legacy Photo Lab is not responsible for delivery problems caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

5. Delivery Estimates

Carrier delivery estimates are not guarantees.

Delivery may be affected by weather, carrier delays, transportation disruptions, holidays, incorrect addresses, natural disasters, labor disruptions, or other events outside Legacy Photo Lab's reasonable control.

Legacy Photo Lab is not responsible for carrier delays occurring after a shipment has been accepted by the carrier, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

6. Tracking

When tracking information is available, it may be provided by email, through an order page, or through another customer communication.

Tracking information is supplied by the applicable carrier and may not always update immediately.

7. Lost, Missing, or Damaged Shipments

If a shipment appears to be lost, missing, or damaged in transit, please contact Legacy Photo Lab as soon as reasonably possible.

We may request your order number, photographs, packaging, tracking information, or other documentation reasonably necessary to investigate the issue or submit a carrier claim.

Depending on the circumstances, available remedies may include replacement, reshipment, store credit, refund, or assistance with a carrier claim, subject to applicable law, product availability, insurance coverage, and carrier policies.

8. Delivered Packages

When carrier tracking indicates that a shipment has been delivered, customers should first check the delivery location, household members, neighbors, building staff, parcel lockers, and any delivery notice provided by the carrier.

Legacy Photo Lab may assist with investigating a reported delivery problem, but we cannot guarantee replacement or reimbursement for packages that the carrier confirms were delivered to the address provided by the customer, except where required by law or where we determine that Legacy Photo Lab was responsible for the problem.

9. Returned or Undeliverable Packages

Packages may be returned to Legacy Photo Lab because of an incorrect address, refused delivery, failed delivery attempts, or other carrier issues.

If a shipment is returned to us for a reason not caused by Legacy Photo Lab, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping charges before the order is shipped again.

Refund eligibility for returned merchandise remains subject to our Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.

10. Shipping Film or Original Materials to Legacy Photo Lab

Customers who mail film, negatives, photographs, or other original materials to Legacy Photo Lab are responsible for packaging those materials securely and selecting an appropriate shipping method unless Legacy Photo Lab has expressly provided the shipping method or label.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service and appropriate insurance when sending valuable or irreplaceable materials.

Legacy Photo Lab is not responsible for customer materials that are lost, damaged, misdirected, or delayed before they are received by Legacy Photo Lab, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

11. Shipping of Film, Negatives, Prints, and Other Customer Materials

When Legacy Photo Lab ships customer film, negatives, prints, or other materials, we will use reasonable care in preparing the shipment.

Once a shipment is transferred to a third-party carrier, transportation is subject to the carrier's operations, terms, and limitations.

Customers should promptly notify us of any apparent loss or damage so that available carrier remedies or claims can be investigated.

12. International Shipping

International shipping may be offered for certain products or destinations when available.

Customers are responsible for any import duties, customs charges, taxes, brokerage fees, or similar charges imposed by the destination country unless otherwise stated at checkout.

International shipments may experience customs or carrier delays outside Legacy Photo Lab's control.

13. Store Pickup

Orders designated for store pickup are not considered shipped.

Customers are responsible for collecting pickup orders within any timeframe communicated by Legacy Photo Lab.

Additional terms may apply to orders that remain unclaimed or uncollected after completion.

14. Relationship to Other Policies

Returns, refunds, cancellations, final-sale products, custom services, and digital scans are governed by our Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy and Terms of Service.

15. Rights Required by Law

Nothing in this Shipping Policy is intended to limit any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived.
