Becoming a photographer/videographer wasn’t a childhood dream, but my creative environment hinted at it. My journey began when a college friend invited me to photograph their "dubstep Tuesdays," sparking my interest in exploring my camera's potential. I quickly transitioned from capturing local events to photographing wakeboarders and eventually landed a gig at the Dallas music festival, Lights All Night, on New Year's Eve 2012. This opportunity led to a role at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, where a Dutch DJ’s agent offered me a videography position for their US tour. Despite my initial lack of experience, I embraced the challenge, rented a Sony FS700 to learn, and joined the tour in November 2013. My story highlights the importance of seizing opportunities and pursuing your passions, embodying my father's advice: “if you don’t ask, you don’t get.”
