At box speed (ISO 400) it handles everything from bright daylight to dim interiors without complaint. Push it to 800 or 1600 and the grain opens up beautifully, adding texture and mood rather than falling apart. At 3200 it's gritty and intentional — a look you can't fake in post. Wide exposure latitude means you can over- or underexpose and still pull a usable negative. It responds well to almost any developer: D-76, HC-110, Rodinal, Xtol — each gives you a slightly different character.
